Bathroom Remodeling
Full bathroom renovations, tile, vanities and the waterproofing nobody ever sees.
Everything that determines whether a bathroom lasts is hidden by the time the room is finished. The waterproofing membrane, how it turns up the wall, the slope of the pan and the way the drain is tied in are invisible on handover day and are the only things that matter three years later. Tile hides bad work extremely well, right up until the subfloor gives way.
The most common bathroom project in this market is the one that goes into a basement, either as part of finishing it or as a second bathroom for a family that has outgrown the one upstairs. Below grade changes the job: the drain often has to be broken into the slab, and the material choices that are fine on the second floor are not automatically fine underground.
Tub to shower conversions are the other steady request, usually when a second bathtub is no longer earning the space it takes up or when someone wants to stay in the house comfortably for longer.
