Aurora.

Aurora is the largest part of this service area and the most varied. Much of the housing went up through the 1970s and 1980s, which puts it at exactly the age where the original flooring is past saving, the kitchens are closed off and the basements were left unfinished by the builder.

That last point is where most of the value sits in an Aurora house. A basement that has been sitting as storage since the day the house was built is the largest single block of usable square footage the owner already owns, and finishing it costs a fraction of what adding the same space above grade would.
